    I sprained my ankle playing soccer in September 2015. At first I tried to continue playing and running on it but was a bad mistake. After another month I went to a Chiropractor that taped it and give me a list of exercises to strengthen it.

    Now, After 4 months with lot of rest is almost cured. I can train on it, play soccer but I still feel pain when I do specific movements. I suggest Rest!

    GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR!!!
    I used to have chronic ankle injuries; seriously all the time. I would let them heal by icing them and staying off them. Followed by slowly strengthing them back up over the next few months. I would finally be able to play without a brace, and then a couple months later I would roll on it again and have to repeat the whole process.
    I finally went to a chiropractor about it after another traumatic ankle injury. She adjusted it for and the swelling instantly reduced, as in I watched it go down.
    Anyways, long story short: it helps immensely to get it readjusted into place. It reduces recovery time and reduces recurrances.
    Seriously. Do it.

    I rolled my right ankle twice within a year, both on a root. The first time, I rolled it halfway into a 80 minute run, 30 seconds later ran it off and no issues, even despite drinking a 6 pack the following evening. Second time was 8 months later, I rolled the same side 20 minutes into a 40 minute run. it was getting progressively worse as the run went on, and it got the point where I decided to not show up to work hours later as a result. That kept me out of running for a month and used chiropractic therapy before getting back into it.

    Find a chiropractor that does ART (Active Release Techniques) http://www.activerelease.com/providerSearch.asp#

    I sprained my ankle about two years ago. I went to the chiropractor last year because my ankle was still right. A couple months later and it was good as new. Amazing results really.

    If you have a chiropractor you like, call him/her and get it adjusted. Or find a chiropractor for the first time; it works very well for think kind of injury in addition to RICE.
