I've been having sever pain in my left foot for 2 1/2 years. Icing, stretching and cortisone shots, ultra sound, physical therapy which included 'scraping' my calf that in itself is excruciating painful. When 6 months of PT and scraping didn't help I had electric shockwave treatment and blood plasma therapy. I'm still in a lot of pain, I've seen my podiatrist monthly since the foot procedure, I will see her again in 2 days. She said I might be one of the people this doesn't work on, and she suggested cortisone shots again. It's difficult to do do exercise when it's so painful.
