Treatment Ratings
I've been dealing with P.F. for 3 years. Had a cortisone injection once (absolute worst thing imaginable!!) But it did help tremendously for approx 8 months. Then it gradually got worse again. Started wearing Vionic Shoes and they helped a LOT. Bought inserts for shoes-helped; stretched each morning - helped a little; chiropractor adj'd foot 2x/wk-no noticeable difference; Ibuprofen-helped......then I broke my leg this past January. Wearing a DynaSplint for dorsiflexion and will start adjusting the splint for the P.F. I am MUCH more knowledgeable now about foot anatomy and understand how the plantar facia becomes inflamed. I'm praying that this DynaSplint will not only help the healing for my broken leg but the P.F. too. Time will tell.
