I tried all of the procedures listed above over a period of a year, including an ice whirlpool. Some helped temporarily. It wasn't until I massaged lemon grass essential oil into my heel twice a day, then followed up with wrapping my heel in a hot towel for 15 minutes that I got complete relief within 3 days.
