After spending time and money with the best podiatrist in our area, I was still in excruciating pain every day. My work involved a fair amount of walking and stairs so I could never completely rest my painful Plantar fasciitis feet. A friend recommended Chacos --- a type of sandal that holds the heel at a bit of an angle and supports the arch. I ordered a pair on Amazon and began to wear them exclusively. Because the straps are completely adjustable, ordering the nearest whole size was not a risk. No more pain while wearing them. Yay! That's been a couple of years ago and now I wear Chacos a lot, but my feet will also tolerate a good tennis shoe and analysts for more dressy occasions. I walk nearly 10,000 steps most days, completely pain free. Chacos cost about $100 ---much less than the many podiatrist visits and treatments! PS I have found Chacos to have GREAT customer service, too. I am a tour guide and Happy Feet are part of all my tours now!
