Treatment Ratings
Taping, cortisone injections and orthotic devices worked for a little bit but the burning pain everything my heel touched the floor was unbearable. Surgery recovery was painful. Had to use a walker for 3-4 weeks for surgical pain but heel pain was gone and has never returned. Within 4 month I was totally pain free. The Dr wanted me to wear orthotics in my shoes but flip flops are the most comfortable. Surgery was in 1997. Would definitely do again. My son In law is in the Army, suffered for 10 years, tried EVERYTHING with no relief and will finally have surgery in June.
