I don't recall an injury just began to wake up in a lot of pain in one foot, then later in both feet. Had experienced pain in toes for years and never sought treatment but when the pain moved to my heal, it became unbearable. A combination of physical therapy. Cortisone infusion, ultrasound, and stretching and strengthening exercises, my feet are very slowly beginning to recover. One strategy alone does t work. I think I needed to be able to learn ways to improve the condition and what to do to minimize pain. NSAIDs can't be taken indefinitely!
