My plantar faciitis came on out of no where in both feet. I have super flat feet so orthotics help a lot if they have a good enough fit. I see a physical therapist and she does ultrasounds, massage, and an ion/cortisone therapy. I stretch and roll a golf ball and a frozen water bottle under my feet to help reduce swelling. I also have a couple night splints but it is hard for me to sleep with ektber of them. I think they're improving but I still have too much pain yet.
