Went to physical therapy for 2 months, 3 cortisone shots, which did not even touch my pain and 3 orthopedic Drs. After a year and half I had the release surgery. The foot felt wonderful for about 3 months, then some pain was back. I had another cortisone shot to break up the scar tissue, but I still have some pain, especially when I am sitting for awhile then get up. I never regretted having the surgery. I limped for over a year, so now even with some pain I can still walk and run.
