Treatment Ratings

    Almost Cured
Boot, NSAIDs - Anti Inflammatory drugs, Night splint, Weight loss, Strengthening Exercises
    Not Improved
    Ice, Cortisone Injection, Stretching

I was walking on a treadmill in January '15 and my left heel started to hurt, like a deep bruise. Icing and stretching no relief. Injectiion into the heel, in April '15 and a Darco boot over night gave immediate relief but only temporary and within a month I was back to square one. June another injection with no relief at all. In August I was put into an air boot 24/7 for a month and took 2 Alleve twice a day, big improvement after a month but not cured. In September I was custom fitted for orthotics ($500. arch supports) which gave me good relief to where I can walk without a limp. I found a web site called where you can purchase, for $20., orthotics with inserts to adjust the height of the arch and these are the best I have ever found. Well worth the money. It is now Feb.'16 and I MUST have supports in every shoe, boot, slipper and NEVER go barefoot to maintain my current status which is about a pain level of 0-2). I hope this helps someone.
