It seems like the prescription orthotic have worsened my pain. I also have pain on the side of my foot and up my leg since getting them.
Update- The orthotic was sent back to be corrected. It was off somewhat. I received a shot which helped a little. I continue to do the stretches and exercises and use the frozen water bottle. I have the corrected orthotic and have been trying it out. Haven’t noticed much improvement yet, but I do need to wear them more often. Pain has been worse the past couple of weeks, especially in the heel area. The pain is much worse when I first get up. That had almost stopped, so I think I may have aggravated it again.

After the two shots last week, I felt much better and the pain wasn’t too bad. By Saturday evening, the pain was a little worse, but nothing like me it had been lately. I continue icing for 20 minutes a day, wear the night splint and do some stretches. I am taking Duexis twice a day. I go back to the dr. Aug. 15. I had 2 more shots. I would say I’m about 75% better. I’m hoping to continue to improve.

I feel that I am almost cured. Pain is 85-90% better.
