Fell on bk ack ice. Foot bent backwards. Tried ice then heat. Went to dr.hash. &e suggested stretching the muscle by standing on stairs with 1/2 the foot hanging over to stretch the muscle. Foot splint was recommended. Made it 2 hrs. Didn't use that again. Took advil/tylenol alternately for 2 wks. To take out inflamation. Did massage in ben gay into the heel. Started getting relief. I mainly attribute the recovery from stretching the muscle.
