Tried many things. Finally last resort was surgery. Surgery was great, recovery was a little longer than expected. No more PF!

However after surgery developed foot pain on top of foot, sides, and toes. Have seen several doctors one says arthritis and tendinitis the other really does know what cause is and said X-ray did not show arthritis. I truly feel from walking abnormal from years of having the PF has damaged my foot. My advice, don't wait too long to get treatment.
