I work in law enforcement and after 3 - 4 years on, I acquired plantar fasciitis. I received cortisone shots in my heels. I also developed plantar fibromas, so I received cortisone shots around the tumors. I also did thermal treatments. We tried the cortisone shot into the tumors and that shrunk them. However, I also have bone spurs and a Morton's Neuroma. It has been a long 3 years. I have done everything my doctor suggested. I wear supportive work, play, dress and casual wear shoes, I stretch my feet and I get messages. The cortisone worked along with the stretching and orthotics.
