    Not Improved
Shockwave, Rest, Orthotics, Physical Therapy, Compression Socks

I've had it for 23 months now. Went to a podiatrist. Received all of the treatment I marked above. The only things that worked for any relief were taping (curbed the acute pain), night splint (made the fxirst steps in the morning better, but after wearing it to sleep in for a year, my achilles tendon ached badly, so I gave it up completely), cortisone shots worked for a couple of weeks. Merely masked the pain. Resting did NOTHING, so after giving up my boot camp workouts 5/week, I returned and had no worsening of my symptoms. I wouldn't give up running/workouts if it happens again. Shockwave treatments did NOTHING but hurt. Still waiting on my full recovery, but it is significantly better than it was for the first 18 months.
