Developed 5/2015. Unfortunately ran through pain for about 4 weeks before seeing Doctor. Went through stretching exercises and my night boot. Did help some. After 6 weeks went to orthotics. These helped more along with continued stretching and boot. Tried compression socks but that seemed to aggravate my instep. I still have some discomfort but not as bad. I haven't run since May. Not that I haven't tried but heel pain starts again so I've stuck to walking. I miss my runs but don't want to aggravate the plantar fasciitis so walking for now!
