Stretching thoroughly before getting up was the most important thing I did. I took it easy and did less walking, but also got several different pairs of supportive shoes. Sadly, I cleaned my closet out of heels and even flats without support. Two years from the first occurance, I am careful to maintain the stretching but really am able to do anything without reoccur antes, so far!
