I've been dealing with PF for over 8 years more on than off due to not wearing supportive shoes and standing on a concrete floor for 8 hours at a time. I've tried pretty much everything. Right now I'm using Heel That Pain shoe inserts, wearing Nike athletic shoes all of the time, have started stretching my legs and feet twice a day, and icing every night and it is slowing improving. I take Advil for pain when needed and I walk for exercise for an hour on a treadmill or in my neighborhood everyday. I've found that the stretching of my legs has improved the condition immensely.
