I had PF in both feet at the same time. One worst then the other. I spent six months in a walking boot-cast for the really bad foot. Eventually I have surgery on that foot which took a very long time to recover from and it was very painful. I was pretty good until I had to have PT for post knee surgery and a balancing exercise has triggered the PF in the foot I had surgery in. I think once you have PF you will have issues with it reoccurring.
