I tried shots first. Change of shoes and orthotics. Help somewhat but finally gave into surgery. When the surgeon was performing the surgery she found 3 bone spurs and a bone cyst when the screws were to go. A short surgery took much longer and instead of walking out of the hospital and was non weight bearing for over 4 weeks and could not drive for 7 (right foot) It have been over 4 months and my foot is still not completely healed. The swelling was unbearable. I finally had to get a shot to reduce swelling. The dissoluble stitches started coming out the top of my foot and that area is still not healed. While I can walk there is still some pain.
