I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for over three years. The Foot doctor wanted to give me shots. I had heard too many bad reviews that I declined the shots. He prescribed custom made orthotics. They were expensive and so hard that they hurt more. I have spent hundreds of dollars on various over the counter inserts, night splints, compression socks, creams and lotions, arch supports, and orthotic shoes and flip flops. I live in the south and flip flops are almost required! I finally found Telic flip flops that I wear around the house. I never go barefoot. I put the Telics on when I get up. But the shoes that have done the most good are Kuru. They have a heel "dip" that the heel sits in that relieves pressure and they have great arch support. My feet aren't 100% and they may never be but I would estimate that they are 85%! And after so long 85% is heaven! Check out Telic and Kuru.
