I have had plantar fasciitis for 7-8 years now, so I have tried a lot. The injections made my feet swollen and painful for about two weeks. I have lost about 20 lbs. which has helped a little, but not a lot and I could say that about most things. My issues are complicated by the fact that I also have neuromas in the ball of each foot and I pronate when I walk (I have worn insoles for about 20 years now due to pronation). I did physical therapy for months when first diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and it helped but it has never resolved/gone away.
