Treatment Ratings
We think it was caused by wearing shape up shoes to work for a year. Started with boots and PT with that scraping therapy. Cortisone shots did nothing
First surgery in April 2011 with PT after did not improve and got worse until I also got tarsal tunnel in R ankle. High doses of Lyrica and anti inflammation pills. Tried walking boots and non weight bearing on R leg for 7 months. During this time I did acupuncture and ultrasound therapy, help for a while but then got worse. Second surgery Nov 2012 with upper release included followed up with nueropathy treatment of cold laser treatment. I have been walking good since, not completely pain free but good enough for no meds. I wear a magnetic bracelet and use an Earth mat on my bed at night. Good shoes with ortho arches, never walk barefoot. Changes in weather can make it flair up some. Doctor that did second surgery said I just had one of those cases that would not respond to treatment. I did change my job so I'm not on my feet as much
