    Orthotics, Night splint, Stretching

I was diagnosed with PF in my right foot. I suffered all your typical symptoms. I tried massage, tennis balls, ice, heat, and stretching. While these treatments helped relieve the pain, they did not cure my PF. My Dr. prescribed that I wear a night splint for a minimum of 8 hours per day for 12-14 weeks. I followed the plan diligently and even wore the splint 10 hours a day (not just while sleeping. At first the splint felt cumbersome, however I got used to wearing it relatively fast. Within 5 weeks I was pain free. My Dr said to continue wearing the splint as my progress was remarkable. At the end of 14 weeks, I began wearing my custom fit orthotics. They took about a week to get used to, however they helped realign my back, posture, and I have zero PF pain now.
