Not sure what brought it on. My guess is that I was used to a minimalist combat boot and when we discovered that they were unauthorized, i switched back to issued boots which were very stiff and had to do a 12 mile road march with them on. After that my foot became progressively worse. I ended up going through physical therapy, with a night splint, no change. Ended up having electroshock therapy while custom inserts were being made. Was supposed to have injections but never made it to that due to a permanent change of station which ended up being for the best. I continued stretching and wore the inserts and it has seemed to help. I haven't switched back to regular inserts to see if I am out of the danger area.
