Treatment Ratings

    Almost Cured
    Proper Running Form, Massage
Ultrasound Therapy, Surgery, Strassburg Sock, Rest, Supportive Shoes, Taping
    Not Improved
Strengthening Exercises, Night splint, Shockwave, Orthotics
    Stretching, Cortisone Injection, Ice

I've had PF for almost 5 years and at the 3.5 year mark the pain was so bad I considered amputation.

Cortisone was awful and made the issue so much worse. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

For me the silver bullet was barefoot running which taught me proper running form. I'm now running in shoes on a regular basis doing 2.5-4 miles at a time several days a week. Am in a much better place now and have started the runners with PF facebook group to help others.
