Treatment Ratings

    Almost Cured
    Orthotics, Supportive Shoes, Stretching
    Massage, Rest

My Plantar Fasciitis was so bas sometimes I couldn't even walk to my bathroom. The pain would bring actual crying and tears. A podiatrist suggested a shot of cortisone in my heel. I tried it and THAT pain was worse! I looked online and found some instruction for some stretching exercises for the feet. THAT helped a LOT. I bought some Berkinstock shoes, which have a molded foot-bed made of cork. Those helped quite a bit. Now at least I could walk in shoes without pain. All my other shoes killed my feet and none were heels, at that! I bought some orthotic inserts for my winter boots and those helped. I still massage my feet a couple of times a week, But there are occasions where I have to ice my feet because I am in so much pain. I've lost over 30 lbs since the onset of Plantar Fasciitis and I think losing weight helped also.
