Treatment Ratings

NSAIDs - Anti Inflammatory drugs, Stretching, Other
    Not Improved
    Orthotics, Cortisone Injection

I had plantar fasciitis for several years in both feet. I had special orthotic arch supports made and I had cortisone shots regularly. They did not seem to help at all. The only thing that finally cured me was daily stretching of my calf muscles, tylenol to keep the inflamation down, and losing weight so that there was not so much pressure on my heel. Over the course of a year, I lost about 40 pounds. I have been pain free for about 10 years now.
