I talked with my doctor who diagnosed plantar fasciitis and offered some specific foot exercises...but the SHOE sales lady did WAY more to help by pointing me toward supportive shoes with orthotics...and in searching the web I found FOOT SMART a shoe catalog that specializes in helpful foot gear for problematic feet. I ordered a pair of OrthaHeel sandals and had instant relief, unfortunately, Vionic bought the company out and changed the recipe for the sandals, and while they are still a little better than most, they are not anywhere near as beneficial as they used to be. Would love to bring back Dr. Weils sandals...I know I sound like an ad, but those sandals were a real life saver for me.
