Extreme pain in heel and arch of both feet. When rising after sleeping or sitting having trouble walking, had to hold the counter or what ever I could find. Got worse with time and cortizone shots are temporary fix. The boot didn't help at all. the splint helps some. Advil is the best. I quit walking because of the pain and had the surgery in Aug. of 2015. I am gradually feeling better but cannot walk or stand for long periods. The foot I had the surgery in still feel like it tears when I walk. I have gained 45 pounds since Oct. of 2013. I also have other health issues that require the costorid steroids. My other foot hurts at time. I wear expensive shoes and insoles. The special dr office insoles I cannot wear any more. Still dealing with the pain in both feet at this time in Dec 2015
