I've been in constant pain for the past 2 years in my right foot. I started having issues 10 years ago due to aerobics but becoming an avid tennis player these past 3 years really took my issues up a notch. After countless attempts (you name it, I tried it), I was at approx 75% and content compared to where I'd been. I'd say the thing that helped most was switching every single pair of shoes....from my tennis shoes to my house shoes...to Vionics or inserts (custom from my
Podiatrist for my tennis shoes and Powerstep insets for my gym shoes). Then one day I stupidly played tennis in new shoes without my Orthotics and it moved to my left foot with a vengeance. After several excruciating months and multiple remedy attempts, I saw a local Accupuncturist and was amazed at how these treatments (along with whole body stretching and topical Ibuprofen from a compounding pharmacy) helped. While they're expensive (my insurance doesn't cover it), it's been amazing.
