I have planters fasciitis and have had it over a year now At first I did ice and massages and stretching. I then went and got shoe inserts not orthotics yet and almost weekly to bi weekly stepped up in different sizes of inserts or should I say different levels of support to where I was at the last option. There were no more steps for me to try. Boy was I dissapointed. Well it took me the unfortunate experience to end up breaking a bone spur that had grown in that spot. Then I went to a boot for 6 weeks. That seemed to help a bit. I was able to go back to my insert that I spent $$$ on and so far so good. However I did go ahead with the orthotics as my ins covered them. I still am not 100% and standing at work isn't helping but it is better. That's my never ending story
