I contracted PF from a spinning class where we stood up most of the time. Right away, it was bad. I didn't rest at first and it got worse. Went to doc. New orthotics to replace old ones. He said to rest and ice and stretch. Showed me some stretches. Soon I wore boot at night. Sometime I took ibuprofen. I had to stop my walking regime. I could cycle, but I reduced it because it did exacerbate the pain. It took over 2 years to get better slowly and finally leave. However, if I am not careful, it starts to come back. I rest, stretch and ice and keep it at bay. Also, I am very careful to wear the right shoes.
