Severe pain in heel region, especially in morning. I could run short distances before it became painful. I wore running shoes for years while working on cement floors and put on a lot of weight. By losing 50 lbs and changing shoes, running less but stretching more I worked through. I still get an occasional pain in the same area but I massage and roll it out. I had the serious pain for 1 1/2 - 2 years, did not know what it was.
