No real injury, just over use. We started with taping my foot, then after a week of no tape the pain comes back, stretching does help, but not completely, or I roll a frozen water bottle for about 20 minutes, this works pretty well, I may get a day or two of relief with the frozen water bottle, antienflammatories help some too, I end up getting cortisone injections in 2 different spots, that works the best, I get 100% pain relief anywhere from 6 months. to a year, prescription orthotics I think help stabilize my feet since I'm on my feet almost every day, if I go without them my feet will hurt.
