I stand on my feet all day. Suddenly my right foot would randomely have a cramp type feeling in the arch area that would last for a few minutes. During this time I couldnt run if I had to and just stood and tried to roll my foot in circles to get the cramp to go away. That continued for 2 or 3 weeks and then a new symptom took over. It felt as if I had severly bruised my heel. It hurt to walk on it. Then a few days later my left foot started having the same symptoms. If I had needed to run I couldn't. At that point my son suggested I get a good pair of shoes to wear which I did. They started to help but What really helped was when I bought a pair of arch sopports at walmart. The ones where you stand on the machine and it diagnoses your arches and recommends which style to buy. I did it several times and went with the one recommended the most times. These arch support inserts along with better shoes have helped tremendously in about 6 weeks time. Sore, bruised feeling almost completely gone. I can run if needed mow. I also bend my foot/toes up toward my knees and hold for like 30 seconds to stretch out that band of tendons or whatever that goes from big toe to my heel which was what was cramping. Almost cured.
