Started out with new water shoes. Wore them for about 1 1/2 hr. per day. Both feet dord. Got hiking shoes and one foot cleared up. Podiatrist X rayed my foot and found no bone spur. Gave me shoe inserts, cortisone shot (had a nice numb spot, just not where it was sore), black walking boot. Several weeks passed with no benefit. Gave up on him. Accupuncturist next. She did by far the most good but not covered by insurance, so had to quit after a few weeks. Chiropractor did adjustments, ultrasound, and laser. This did help my back, which was out due to the limping. Physical therapy doing astym. ..too soon to tell yet. All during these months, stretching, icing (rolling on a frozen 2 liter bottle), wearing any new OTC inserts I could find, several "linaments", a sock s/t a knee sock that pulled up on mt toes at night. Went to The Good Feet Store, eho eould sell me some OTC inserts for $1K. After all these months, I will see a podiatrist who hopefully will PRESCRIBE inserts. All this suffering because insurance didn't want to pay for the molds etc. THANKS OBAMACARE Years ago I had this, got custom orthotics and was over it within a month.
