I believe I injured my heels from doing too much too fast. I was sprinting, playing adult soccer, rod floor gymnastics and heavy weight training. I woke up one morning and I could hardly put weight on my heels. I am back to running 2-3 days a week instead of 6 days a week, but still sore heels regularly. Rolling my heels on iced water bottles and stretching helps. Tried the taping, but that doesn't seem to help since my pain is more in my heels than in my arches. My doctor told me I have plantar fasciitis in all three bands in both feet and also tendonitis. He recommend drawing the alphabet with my toes instead of too much stretching???
