Have had plantars in the past in both feet which was cured with physical therapy, custom orthotics, and quality shoes. However, it returned late last Fall and has been persistent in my right foot. I have had multiple cortisone injections, speciality compounded anti-inflammatory cream, new custom orthotics, and a round of physical therapy. The pain still persists accompanied some days with top-of-foot pain. Nothing has taken away the pain this time. I am trying to avoid surgery which my podiatrist thinks may be the next step. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
