Treatment Ratings

    Orthotics, Shockwave
    Not Improved
NSAIDs - Anti Inflammatory drugs, Rest, Compression Socks

RN on my feet for three consecutive 12 hour shifts in ER. I've tried custom orthotics, which feel ok while standing/walking but they worsen my pain if I try to walk barefoot. NSAIDs... might as well take air tablets. Shock therapy with my own TENS unit seemed like it might help initially, but the pain returned within 2 weeks and further shock did not resolve. Compression socks don't really seem to make any difference. Rest alleviates the pain, but it will return as soon as I take a step. Rolling a tennis ball under my foot just hurts.
