Had same on Right foot 20 years ago. pain is excruciating after rest. I have injury on other foot now too, which forced rest. I think that and the Cortizone shot have really excellerated the healing, much better now after 4 months of pain. It is not gone yet, but becoming tolerable. Miserable condition. I will continue stretching and be faithful about the arch supports . I don't ever want this to happen again.
