Treatment Ratings

    Almost Cured
    Orthotics, Supportive Shoes
    Compression Socks

I had been walking/jogging for a little over a year when I had a back injury. I stopped jogging for about 8 months. When I restarted, I probably did too much too soon, and also was wearing the same shoes as when I left off. Between overdoing and worn out shoes, I quickly developed plantar facitiis. I started using arch support bands at night and saw some improvement. I continued to try to find better shoes and support. My best luck has been with Birkenstocks (London and Florida styles) and Chacos sandals. I have also had some success with Archmold orthotics.
