I had the release done, and also had a bone spur removed and Achilles lengthening and ablation. YES- 4 procedures! The recovery was hard and took 1 year because of the Achilles, but my right foot feels SO good now. Next, I need the release and a bone spur removed on the left foot. I will do it because the result is so worth it. And this time without the Achilles, my recovery should be a much shorter one. Good luck everyone and never take walking pain free for granted.
