Extreme pain in heel. Saw my doctor and was x-rayed. First off she had taped my foot and I had to wear the boot cast for three weeks. I had no relief so she suggested physical therapy. Went three times a week for about four or five weeks. Did the strength exercises and a lot of stretching exercising followed by the ultra sound and finished each session with a deep tissue massage. Slowly it seemed to be getting better. On finishing pt at follow up appt dr recommend ortho heel or Vionic brand schools. Also no going bare feet ever again. After the shock of the expense of the shoes I bought two pair. Also got the orthotics inserts for planter factiis. I only wear my support shoes even while St home, use my inserts in my other shoes and exercise both of my feet several times a day. I also visit my dr every six months for regular diabetes foot care. It's been three or four years and I have no pain. Never want to experience that pain again.
