I suffered from plantar fasciitis for 8-10 years; I also have 2 massive bone spurs. I thought it was a aging thing, but got so bad I had to go to the orthopedic doctor. Got shots wrapped feet and got a set of inserts. I thought to myself, "How are the little inserts going to help?" Shots done zero good. The more research I done and better educated I got on the subject matter the more I realized that the ligaments are torn at a microscopic level and they have to begin healing and the only way to do that is to keep the ligaments lifted up so they can start healing. I got rid of ALL flat shoes, never went barefooted and bought several pair of Orthaheel 3/4 length inserts, as well as only purchases Orthaheel and Vionic shoes...BTW, I do not get one penny from them...It took about 8 months but I now have ZERO feet pain. I couldn't hardly walk when I first got out of bed when I was dealing with PF.
