I first had PF in mid 90's and received Cortisone injections in both heels. Received almost immediate relief. Had to , working as a nurse.Last few years, it has returned and finally went back for care.The Splints really help to keep my feet from "drop-foot"and I don't have "as much" trouble with stiff calves....Can't use NSAIDS ....
