The injury involved my left heel - I could barely put weight on it. Initial treatment of NSAIDs, ice, stretching and rest brought me most of the way back. I still have to stretch and occasionally slip the splint on some nights (in particular, if I've walked a lot). I walk 2x's per week, circuit train 3x's per week (no more aerobics though) and work with a personal trainer 1x per week. I wear an orthotic in my walking shoes (sneaks) and have replaced my shoes with ones that support my arch.
