Treatment Ratings

    Almost Cured
    Supportive Shoes
NSAIDs - Anti Inflammatory drugs, Stretching, Massage, Rest, Taping
    Not Improved
Night splint, Ice, Orthotics, Strengthening Exercises

I had plantar fasciaitis for over a year. I had to curtail my walking for exercise. I went to the podiatrist who prescribed a boot at night, orthotics, icing, and Aleve. Nothing really helped except rest and 2 Aleve in the morning and then 2 Aleve at night. I knew this would have to be a temporary cure but it helped for a while. I still had problems until I changed all my shoes to Vionics, Alegrias and other arch supporting shoes. I rarely have a flare up now. Stretching and massage also help a lot.
