I started having severe pain in the heel of my right foot about 3 months ago. I knew I hadn't injured myself in anyway. The pain in my foot was at it's worse in the mornings when I got up. We have hard floors and it was excruciating. So, after a couple of weeks of the pain, I decided to look up symptoms on the internet and found the Heel Pain Store which described in detail exactly what was wrong with my foot. I do walk barefoot a lot and have since I was a kid. I hates shoes. I do a lot of walking for exercise about 15-20 miles a week but I do wear a really good pair of walking shoes. I ordered the night splint, the heel pad and foot stretcher. After wearing the night brace just one night, the next morning I felt the improvement. In addition, I began doing the exercise twice a day. In the beginning, it was really painful but after several weeks of doing the exercises, wearing the night splint and the inserts in my shoes, my foot has improved immensely. If I forget to do the exercises, though, I start feeling the burn in my heel. So I'm still trying to be as consistent as possible. I can say enough how much I appreciate the way my foot is feeling again. It is amazing how much we take our feet for granted and when it's painful to walk, it is so debilitating.
