I teach school on concrete floors with exacerbates this condition. I have had it for over 8 years ( I was much thinner and exercised daily. Rode exercise bike to avoid foot stress until hip pain and degenerative disc disease started causing tremendous pain.) Eventually, had torn Achilles’ tendons from condition and had to had surgery over the past year. I have tried everything to help. I feel as though I will have to have surgery to correct it, but have heard so many mixed reviews and with the weight gain that I have had from the Achilles surgeries, I can’t afford to do it again. EVERYTHING has suffered from this condition. If I could quit, I would.

I had surgery back in April and I have to say the pain and discomfort is worse now then it was when I had the surgery. I shouldnt have had the surgery. I have a lot of pain, swelling and inflammation. Worst experience ever.
